Friday July 7th
Teams should begin arriving at Oneok Field around 4:30pm. We will have a table set up outside the gate where players and coaches will pick up their ticket for the game that will get them into the park. There will be another table set up for parents and siblings to purchase their tickets. Players and Coaches are free…all others are $5.
Once inside, teams will need to go by the photographer area and have their team photo taken. THIS IS MANDATORY! Once you have done this, teams will proceed to the outfield area where you will be lined up for the parade of teams.
Once everyone is lined up, as your team is announced they will need to walk to the infield where the photographer will help place you in the correct spot. Once all the teams have been introduced, the photographer will take a group photo. The Speaker will then address the audience and then the teams will be asked to move to the sides of the field while the skydivers enter. Once they have landed we will have the National Anthem and the Ceremonial First Pitch and then teams will be dismissed to eat and find their seats for the game.
Once the Opening Ceremonies have concluded, teams will go to the table at the entrance and each player and coach will be given a meal ticket. We will not give out a group to the coach…each players must pick up their own ticket. We have to account for these back to the Driller’s Management. Concessions will be open for all others. They have a great menu… not just popcorn and hotdogs.
Teams are welcome to trade pins at any time during the opening ceremonies. Pin trading will also continue throughout the week during the Series. Be sure to get your Official Tournament Pin Towels at the Souvenir stand.
